This page will be updated often
as we remember new things to tell you and as you remind us. Also, I don't
really know what this page should look like from a layout stand point, so I'll
be experimenting from time to time with different looks. Suggestions
appreciated!

Photos - Most of
these photos came from Jerry's annual since Mike's suffered from an overwatered
plant on the bookcase. For those of you that wrote juicy things in Jerry's
annual, we resorted to Mike's. Some of the scans were less than wonderful (I'm
anal sometimes), so I'll update those as we go along. I even thought about
trying to get rid of some of the hidious glasses! But hating your senior
picture is not reason enough to take it out, so don't ask.
But............ |

We want more! - Yes,
you'll notice the section on each page titled "A Little History" and a
big blank spot on the left. Well, that's for a recent picture of you and yours
(if you want). Please, no photos or clips from "Girls Gone Wild" or
drunken spring break parties. (then again, it might fulfill some of those 35
year fantansies! -- Do I want to go there????)
Also, you'll notice a "Family" section. Bet you can guess
what goes there. Yes, info and photo(s) of kids, grandkids, great-grandkids,
etc. No fish, birds, or farm animals please.
Now, how would we like them? We're pretty flexible as long as you
like them!
Traditional paper prints work,
3-1/2x5, 4x6, 5x7, up to 8x10 (limit of my scanner), sharp, fairly close up
(not much interested in trees, telephone poles/wires, mountains, and oceans
(unless, of course, its a nude beach.....).
Slides (transparencies) will also work.
You can send them to: Mike Poston Click here for address info
Something to Consider - If they're one of a kind,
irreplacable, or keepsakes, and you still want them on the website, package
them with cardboard to prevent damage and include return postage/address
information. If you don't like sending them, and you live in the area, you can
call Mike (you look it up) to arrange for hand delivery and pickup. (I promise
not to put them on the bookcase!)
Digital photos in any of the standard formats (.jpg, .bmp, .tif,
,etc.) will also work.
If you do your own
scanning, this is another place where size is important! If you'll
notice Jerry's current photo, its 275x187 pixels. I wouldn't want to get much
taller than 300 pixels or wider than about 400 pixels. Loading time becomes a
real issue. The bigger the picture, the longer the load time. It can also be in
one of the above formats. You can email any of these directly to
Mike, but if you have any
questions, be sure to ask.

In the "History"
section - take a look at Jerry's history. Its highly recommended and
entertaining reading and indicative of what we'd like to have. So, its time to
get a little creative and tell some deep, dark secrets! Include education and
its experiences, the fun times and not so fun times. Everyone loves reading
about what you do or did for a living, or new skills that you've acquired.
Maybe exciting places you've been, or people you've met. Look at it this way,
if you have special skills or talents, or have a business, someone in this
group just might need your services.
We would
really prefer email here and sent in the body of the message or as an
attachment. Regular .txt files, Word, Notepad, WordPad, or whatever you have
should work. Just send it and if we have any trouble, we'll contact you. If you
use Mac, again any text file format will work. Copy and paste is a lot better
than re-typing.
Jerry and Mike should get this. |

Website Suggestions?
- Got any ideas or suggestion for changes to our web site? Diplomacy is the key
here. We worked real hard and long on this site and as long as you can approach
it in a civilized manner, you can email
Mike Poston and Jerry
Adams to make any suggestions. |

Current Happenings -
Check the Current
Happenings link regularly. We will post special announcements you
send to us like new arrivals, special events in you life, or if you want to
start your own local chapter of the Glencliff '66 Alumni Association (I think
Mike and Janet might have some insight here...). Also, when and if plans are
being made for any last minute, or long term get-togethers, this is the place.
Keep those cards, letters, and emails coming!
